Camp Woodbury Wedding
Sam & Nora
Another lesbian camp wedding?? Yes, another one. And yes, we probably will keep having them. Why, you ask? Find me a better setup for lesbians and we might consider something else.
A camp wedding has everything we want:
cozy cottage vibes.
A reception where you can alternate between dancing to Robyn, sitting in front of a fire trading stories of all the girlfriends you’re glad the brides didn’t marry, and/or escaping to your personal cabin where you can take a break from humanity or go to bed by 10.
Your best friends, exes turned best friends, and new wife can all bunk up together the whole weekend and do crafts or outdoor activities! And maybe there’s room for your family to stay, as well, so they can get a full weekend trial of Gay Life. There’s always board games for the board game queers, hiking trails for the nature queers, and plenty of serene seating options for the cottage core queers to knit the day away.
It’s perfect for our type and I cannot be convinced otherwise.
Sam and Nora’s wedding was no exception to this rule!!!
Their wedding was IT!
They got ready in their cutie little cabins and had an adorable ceremony by Nordman Lake. We even absconded in a golf cart (without permission) to get portraits after the ceremony. The two of them were in a bubble of joy the whole day and seeing their love made me want to call my girlfriend and say, “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH [cry emoji].”
Enjoy this sampling of my favorite photos from their wedding day. I photographed mostly on analog film and emphasized candid photos over posed.
