A Queer Love Story in the Heart of NYC | 35mm & Medium Format Film Photoshoot
There’s something electric about photographing two people who are deeply in love, especially when that love is rooted in a city like New York. For this queer couple—two longtime New Yorkers—our shoot began at the iconic IFC Center in Greenwich Village, the very place where they met. From there, we wandered west to Pier 45 at Hudson River Park. We didn’t have an agenda. We just wandered around and took pictures where the light hit *just* right. These two were a dream to photograph: easygoing, stylish, and completely in sync with each other. Their love for each other is palpable. Shot entirely on 35mm and medium format film, this session is a celebration of queer love, authentic connection, and the magic of New York.
