Lace Factory Wedding
Georgi and Christina’s wedding at The Lace Factory in Deep River, Connecticut was a heartfelt celebration of queer love, chosen family, and quiet, intentional joy. Set against the scenic backdrop of the Connecticut River, their day was filled with soft light, historic charm, and a beautifully nontraditional wedding party that reflected their values and community. As a queer film photographer, I captured their story on both 35mm and medium format film — a medium that feels as timeless and genuine as the connection between these two. While they cared deeply about having their wedding day documented, they didn’t want photography to take over the experience — just the way I like to work. The result was a relaxed, honest, and deeply moving day that I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of.
