Your Detroit Wedding Photographer
I offer wedding photography in Detroit, all over Michigan, and anywhere your love story takes you.
I am here for the imperfect, the unexpected, and the celebrations that do not fit into a box. Most of my couples are queer or allies who want photos that feel alive, a little messy, and very real. I shoot in a documentary style with plenty of color and whimsy. I identify as queer and use she/her pronouns.
My approach to Detroit wedding photography comes from a mix of graphic design, a love for movement, and an obsession with film. My work has been featured in Equally Wed, Dancing with Her, Dancing with Them, The Knot, Carats & Cake, Zola, and more.
When I am not photographing weddings, I am Creative Director at Orso Design Co. And when I am not doing either of those things, you will probably find me cooking something cozy, biking around the city, reading, or out in nature.

My Approach to Wedding Photography in Detroit, Michigan
As a wedding photographer in Detroit, I am not just here to take pretty pictures. I am here to see you, celebrate your identity, and make sure you feel comfortable and seen in every frame. My goal is to create photos that feel like your love, not like someone else’s Pinterest board.
Here is what you can expect when you work with me:
Film and digital photos that are colorful, unexpected, imperfect on purpose, and full of life.
Candid moments first. No stiff poses or outdated gender roles, just natural connection and the real stuff.
Editing that feels true. Skin tones are honored, details are kept real, and the final gallery looks like you.
We’ll start by hopping on a video call so we can all meet and assess the vibes.
To book, I require a 50% retainer and signed contract.
Once you’re booked, I’ll send you a Client Home Base with helpful tips about the photography process, your to do list, and more.
Next, we’ll do an engagement shoot (I like to call it a practice session). This will be entirely on analog film in a place you love, like your home. This session is free - no additional cost to you!
You’ll get your film scans from the session. Wahoo! I’ll have you give me feedback on the gallery. What did you love? Is there anything that makes you more/less nervous for your wedding photos?
My Wedding Photography Process
A couple months before your wedding, I’ll send you a questionnaire that asks for all the information I’ll need to know for your wedding day.
We’ll schedule a call (with your planner, if you have one) and review the photography timeline, logistics, and mood board.
Your wedding happens! It’s amazing! Everyone is blown away!
Within 6 weeks of your wedding, your full gallery will be delivered via an online link. You can share this link with your friends and fam. It will be available for one year and you’ll get access to my print shop for printing albums and other nice things.
